Multiplayer Weapons
Rockets: Rockets are best used in wide open spaces. Although it's fun to use in smaller stages like Facility every now and then, the Temple is probably the choice for a showdown of Rockets because of the large rooms and wide hallways. Lasers: Lasers can be used in almost any map. They are fast firing and have unlimited ammo, which is VERY important in multiplayer. The WORST thing that can happen to you in battle is you hear that "click click" sound when you have fired your last shot, and last shot I mean literally. Back to the weapon itself, holding down the trigger button is usually better than pressing it nonstop, so just hold it down and give the Z button a break. Golden Gun: The Golden Gun is a very unique gun. Maybe the name gives it away? Anyway, with the Golden Gun one shot is a kill. Doesn't matter if it is License to Kill or not. Since it doesn't matter, the Golden Gun is pretty useless in LTK, License to Kill, because of its slow recoil, amount of time between firing shots. So avoid choosing the Golden Gun in LTK games. The Golden Gun is very good in small stages. Once you control the Golden Gun, you win the game. Slapper's Only: Just what it says, Slappers Only. All you have is your hands to work with, and you better make it snappy. Make one fatal mistake, and it could be your life. Pistols: Probably the most preferred weapon choice for LTK. In normal mode, Pistols are ok, it's just that it takes a long time to kill someone, even if you get a head shot, which you should try to master, it could take up to three hits if they have body armor. Throwing Knives: One of the most underplayed weapons in GoldenEye is the deadly Throwing Knives. With one shot to the head, this powerful handheld weapon can take someone's life and give you a frag in the mixup. If you ever do use these in multiplayer, aim high and don't forget to pick up your thrown knives. Automatics: Automatics are a good choice for a Sunday afternoon deathmatch. With the power of the small DD44 Dostovei and the ever-so-quick firing of the D5K Deutsche, this is an excellent way of letting of a little steam. Power Weapons: And you thought the D5K Deutsche was a macho gun, wait until you see the weapons of Power. Wait a sec.. Power weapons I mean. Power Weapons has the strongest guns in the game. The RCP-90 with its 80 clip round, and the Shotgun with its powerful blast, makes Power Weapons a mans game. Tell your little brother or sister to step out of the room before you attempt to play anyone in this mode. Sniper Rifles: Snipers Rifles kick butt in single-player. I wish I could say the same about multiplayer. Although they are pretty good in the Temple, any other stage it is quite useless. Unless you consider it a real gun? Grenades: Grenades are pretty cool in multiplayer. They take a lot of skill because you have to time the explosion perfectly to hit your opponet, or yourself in some cases. Remember, you can hold Z to pull out the pin and hold the grenade for a few seconds, but don't forget to let it go, or else, BOOM! Remote Mines: Remote mines are perfect for ambush games. I hate to do this, but turn down the volume to the game so that people won't hear whenever you place a mine. It really gets annoying when people know where mines are. Also don't forget that you can detonate the mines whenever you throw them by pressing A and B at the same time. Grenade Launchers: Grenade Launchers are almost like Grenades, except you can shoot them from your a launcher! That was pretty corny, better proof read this before I post it. On to the subject at hand, Grenade Launchers do have their uses though. Don't you love banking a shot off the wall or around the corner to see your opponets screen suddenly turn all red? Gotta love that! Timed Mines: Timed Mines are the second most under used settings in multiplayer. I don't know why, maybe cause it's boring? Proximity Mines: My favorite setting in multiplayer. Proximity Mines KICK SOME SERIOUS *()*. Play Complex, Proxies, and LTK and tell me that you don't like it! Just go ahead and tell me! :)
